The Engineering Excellence Awards offers an opportunity to encourage excellence through the identification, recognition, reward and promotion, both within the profession and the community at large, for outstanding achievements in the advancement of the science and practice of engineering.

The program offers applicants the following benefits:

• Publicity for the applicant company and its projects;
• Industry and peer recognition;
• A feature in the Engineering Showcase website and handbook, distributed to industry and educational institutions;
• Networking opportunities at the Awards Ceremony and associated events;
• A framed certificate for finalists;
• A framed certificate of excellence for category winners;
• Invitation to submit to the National Engineering Awards for category winners;
• The right to use the Engineering Excellence Awards’ winners logo on corporate letterhead and promotional material for a period of two years following receipt of the award;
• Possible project display at the Powerhouse Museum

21 April 2006 - Judges Review of Level 1 entires

23 June 2006 - Level 2 (finalists) entries close

July - August 2006 - Level 2 Judging

22 September 2006 - Winners announced at the 2006 Engineering Excellence Awards Ceremony - Sydney

Awards Presentation Evening

The 2006 Engineering Excellence Awards will be presented at a black-tie gala evening on Friday 22nd September 2006 in Sydney (venue to be advised). This high profile event gives finalists the opportunity to showcase their celebrated works to industry stakeholders and guests.

NOTE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

This Call for Entry is a new 2 tier process to encourage entrants to submit a range of entries. The process is quick, simple and costs little to prepare, and can initially be submitted on-line or by normal mail.

All finalists, this year, will be recognised for their engineering excellence with a certificate of excellence. This is an opportunity for your company to demonstrate its excellence to your peers and to the public at large.
